Industry Experience
I have over 36 years of security industry experience, having spent 27 of those years working as a security guard and crowd controller in my own business. During this time, I also employed security guards and crowd controllers. I also successfully completed all the vocational training that a security guards and crowd controllers were required to undertake to maintain their industry licences.
Over the years I have worked in most sectors of the security industry. My security industry experience covers such areas as: High-rise security, retail security, hospital security, crowd control for events, static guards, mobile patrols, Cash-In-Transit, investigations, process serving, special event security, sporting events, motor racing, horse racing, gatehouses, shopping centres, hotels, motels, educational facilities, major transport infrastructure projects, factories and industrial complexes, residential developments, car yards, wrecking yards, guard dogs, alarm responses, escorts, and arms shipments.

In December 2020, I was awarded the Australian Security Medal for my conspicuous contribution to the security industry over the past 37 years.
